School Development Plan

Latest Development Plan Priorities

As a school, we always challenge ourselves to be innovative in what we do to ensure that all our pupils are given the solid foundation they need to build on, to be successful in their lives.

There are many changes in education in Wales at present, and it is important that we are ready for these changes. Our new curriculum is operational and we have taken this into account when deciding on our priorities for this year including how the pandemic has affected pupil’s learning.

School Development Plant priorities 2022-23:

  1. Promote pupil’s ownership of the Welsh Language and their heritage/culture. To ensure that their Welsh language skills are developed progressively so that they become confident bilingual users.
  2. To address the attainment gap exasperated by Covid through pupil personal progress.
  3. To use the ethos of the New Curriculum to further develop a self-improving school.
